From the beginning of 2008 we luckily have the collaboration of Volunteers in Granada; people who dedicate their time and effort helping others; lending us a hand with donations deliveries, family visits, physiotherapy treatments to kids, management of our pharmacy, etc

However, our present substructure is not big enough to have a great number of volunteers in an steady way, so we´re in need for professionals with an specific background, like:

Speech Therapist. We´d like them to work with hearing handicapped kids we treat, as well as teachers from Special Schools, in need of further formation.

Pharmacist. We need someone to manage our Pharmacy, organizing medicines and helping with the free drugs delivery ( with prescription ) that we made at our Social Centre in the afternoons.

Nutritionist. We´d like him/her to study the local nutrition reality and design cheap but nutritional diets to improve nourishment in the area.

General Practitioner.

There´s also the possibility to collaborate from distance; we´d like to welcome you in our volunteer team, should you be able to help us with spreading, administration or project management.

The last – but not less important – if you plan to travel to Nicaragua and you have free space on your luggage, you could be of great help by bringing medicines or donations material.
