Material Donations
Do you have material you think could be useful to the
people we help ? The shipment of material to Nicaragua
is not cheap, and sometimes really difficult at customs
and bureaucratic time; so our good desires must not
blind us. We should know what must be shipped and what
not. For example: it has no sense sending clothing,
school material or toys from outside, since these things
have a huge weight, and can be bought directly in Nicaragua
at a cheaper cost.
Nevertheless, if you’re going to come to Nicaragua,
directly or as a travel stop; you do can make good use
of your luggage, to bring with you some material that
is really USEFUL from outside; because of its high price
in Nicaragua, and its small weight.
We currently need these products donations:

Baby Milk. As we
have already explained here, baby
milk is essential in the first months of a baby´s
life; in Nicaragua is very expensive for poor people.
Its consumption is high, so we are always in need
of Baby Milk. |

Medicines and Drugs.
To keep our free Pharmacy open, we make drug
sporadic purchases, though any medicine donation
is always highly needed and appreciated. |

Second-hand shoes.
Shoes are expensive for poor people, if you think
of Nicaragua´s living standards. They are
easy to cary on by plane. Should you have child
summer shoes, used but still useful, please get
in contact with us. |
